Karlis Zaid co-created the 'cabaret terrorists' known as The Beautiful Losers, (with Mark Jones, Adam Murphy & Mike McLeish), which toured extensively, and won three Green Room awards and a Melbourne Fringe Festival award.
In recent times, Karlis toured in the National Theatre of Great Britain/Global Creatures Tony award-winning Warhorse. He has appeared alongside Geoffrey Rush in Melbourne Theatre Company's sell-out Broadway musical The Drowsy Chaperone, and co-devised and performed The Divine Cabaret at The Adelaide Cabaret Festival, with Geraldin Quinn, Mark Jones and members of The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra.
Throughout 2017, Karlis will tour with Opera Australia's My Fair Lady, directed by Dame Julie Andrews.
